Mikolaj Wyszynski is a painter and illustrator from Downtown Los Angeles. He works mainly in acrylics mixed with spray paint and enamels as paintings and murals. His new work is focused on portraits with technology and fictional landscapes that are riddled with cybertrash.
“My work should feel like a paper back novel read in a DTLA back alley, or a sudden right turn into a doorway that leads to an Outer Limits episode.” – Mikolaj says - “I want you to stumble upon my art and wonder.” It’s really a science fiction if you start to dissect it. Today’s technological leaps, the galaxy in our handheld device, digitized feelings projected through our screens are all common subjects in his paintings and murals. The pixelated line gains resolution through Mikolaj’s work and lures us directly into his imagination.
